Paul Conrad is originally from Buffalo where he started in radio. He came to Florida in 1983 and worked at several radio stations before starting at WAVV in 1996. He can be heard Monday through Friday mornings, 7 to 10AM, and Saturdays 6 to 10AM. Paul and his wife, Penny, reside in Ft Myers, along with their two dogs, Tia and Toby, and their four cats Tyrone, Tessy, Tootsie and Noah.
Midday on-air personality and Operations Manager Kenny Lamb is a Cleveland, Ohio native who got his start doing college radio at Cleveland State University while earning a degree in Mass Communication, then worked at WPAS and WPLA near Tampa before coming to Southwest Florida in 1985. He was midday on-air personality and Production Director at WSGL in Naples before joining WAVV in 1987. Kenny and his wife, Laura, live in North Naples with their 14-year-old son, Nathan, and 9-year-old daughter Isabel.
Afternoon drive on-air personality and Chief Engineer Al Baxa is a 1971 graduate of Brown College in Minneapolis. Al used his technical background while working in consumer electronics in Minnesota. In 1984, Al gave up the cold winters and moved to Southwest Florida. He has used his broadcast skills, as well as his technical experience, first at WSGL in Naples. In 1988, Al joined WAVV, where he has been ever since. Al and his wife Terri reside in Naples, with their two dogs, Scooby and Teddy. Al and Terri can often be found at area locations playing trivia, and they currently host live trivia on Wednesday evenings at Naples Flat Bread in the Mercato.
